We drop the 2nd release on Pure Breaks & it’s a fiery one, the lead single from Alucard’s forthcoming comeback album ‘’Star Rider. Canadian Alucard – an Artist with a unique and instantly identifiable sound – has been dropping beautiful records, albeit infrequently, since 2004 – on legendary labels such as JOOF, Deep Blue, Solaris, Wildchild, Method and Somatic Sense. An early version of ‘Midway’ featured on the acclaimed ‘Electronic Architecture 4’ album, but the track now has been recrafted for sophisticated breaks lovers & dance floors with its crunchy, crisp drum programming, huge liquid synth layers and a gorgeous 90s retro feeling throughout.
