John Dopping returns to Pure Breaks with his 2nd breaks flavoured remix, this time of Orkidea’s classic ‘Higher State’. Finland’s premier DJ released ‘Higher State’ back in 2017, classic Orkidea with its Balearic vocal cries and thrusting synth stabs. John Dopping has taken all those goodies and woven them into a punchy, modern trance-meets-breaks hybrid production with a spattering of sparkly synth arpeggios & a proper heads-down – for want of a better phrase – ‘middle bit’.
