Peter Steele is no stranger to Pure Trance fans, but USA producer Adam Lindburg just might be – a relative newcomer to the scene. Quite why the two fellows struck up their transatlantic (or should that be tranceatlantic?) musical relationship is info we don’t have, but what we do know is that ‘If You Wait’ is a stunning piece of refreshing Pure Trance magic. Acidic arpeggiators, Balearic guitars and under-the-skin melodies are all present, but that sets this apart from the glut of dense, over-produced #138 fodder which dominates the current higher-bpm trance scene is the sense of space & atmosphere that ‘If You Wait’ retains. A track that – thanks to its relative spaciousness – pierces the nervous system in the clubs (thanks to Solarstone for the feedback). Lindburg & Steele are flying the Pure Trance flag.
