New Ordinance are New York based DJ / production / live performance multi-instrumentalist & vocalist duo Gray Devio & Gozzi. A grand introduction perhaps but the light-hearted video clip that accompanies the single shows that they don’t take themselves too seriously – which is always nice. ‘Beyond Gravity’ features a beautiful vocal performance from Gray, gentle keyboards all propelled by a tight progressive trance groove, a track that has been mesmerizing fans worldwide since its inclusion on Pure Trance Vol. 7. The Club Mix puts ‘Beyond Gravity’ into the hands of DJs for the first time. Fellow New Yorker Mike Saint-Jules does the remix favour, his version focuses on melding a tight progressive groove with a neat burbling analogue sequence.
