New Ordinance are New York based DJ / production / live performance multi-instrumentalist & vocalist duo Gray Devio & Gozzi. A grand introduction perhaps but the light-hearted video clip that accompanies the single shows that they don’t take themselves too seriously – which is always nice. ‘Beyond Gravity’ features a beautiful vocal performance from Gray, gentle keyboards all propelled by a tight progressive trance groove, a track that has been mesmerizing fans worldwide since its inclusion on Pure Trance Vol. 7. Following Mike Saint-Jules’ progressive remix here is something on a more driving tip from Ireland’s David Broaders. A Co. Kilkenny man with an impressive discography featuring labels like Silk, Parallels & of course Pure Trance, Broaders’ remix doesn’t stray too far from the original’s melodies or structure, instead opting to give them a shot of adrenaline., resulting in something punchy & polished.
