Macker (aka Chris MacDonald) returns to Pure Trance for the first time since 2021’s ‘Lost in Space’ with this exquisite +9-minute serving of 130bpm deep, trance music. ‘Arrakis’ has been a staple of Solarstone’s DJ sets for over 12 months and never fails to lock in the dancefloor with its hypnotic loops & grooves, building tension & holding back its payload for a glorious post-break release. Scott Cameron follows up last year’s ‘112’ single with a charming 135bpm remix of ‘Arrakis’ that escalates the energy along with the BPM. With crisp percussion, twittering acid, a general upping of the ante and an engaging, non-generic arrangement Scott’s remix really hits the spot.
