We welcome a new name to NEON, Seattle resident Frederik Theodore Strabo sent us this track when Pure Trance Vol. 7 was being compiled; unfortunately it didn’t make the final mix (not every track can unfortunately when there are so many quality submissions!) but Solarstone has been playing ‘Hiraeth’ out in almost every set for almost 6 months, so it has earned a reputation as a sought-after ID. Incidentally, ‘Hiraeth’ is a Welsh word that loosely means ‘yearning’, and is to our knowledge the first Welsh-titled record we’ve released! Musically, it’s a gorgeous mid-tempo trancer with enough strobe & laser moments to make lovers of this sound more than happy.
