Namibian trance afficionado Pierre Pienaar remixes what is arguably this year’s finest vocal trance record, from singer, songwriter, producer, DJ & aerialist Sinéad McCarthy (Florida, USA) Brian McCalla (Ohio, USA) and James Black Presents (Brighton, UK).
Sinead’s vocal on ‘Eclipse of the Sun’ is a gritty performance indeed & the hearty synth work from Brian & James all fit perfectly into Pierre’s 138bpm redux.
Pierre has form on the Pure shores, with a clutch of high-flying releases including the brilliant ‘Suri’, the collaboration ‘Still Breathing; (with That Girl), & ‘Lavita’ (with Dirkee Coetzee) – plus remixes for Solarstone & Super-Frog Saves Tokyo. Pierre totally understood & executed the brief for this remix – take all the best bits and put a rocket underneath them!
