Glaswegian Nick Callaghan has been releasing a steady stream of polished & sophisticated trance records since 2008, most recently on labels like Damaged, Monster & Kearnage and his Dj sets are renowned for their combination of Trance, Techno & Psy. He does, however, also have a deeper more progressive side to his sound, which he explores here on the 125bpm ‘Since 83’ – an immersive production that fuses hypnotic samples & sequencer lines, ethereal vocal snatches & pounding percussion.
