The original version of ‘Phosphorous’ featured on Disc 1 of Pure Trance Vol. 5 (mixed by Forerunners). Phil Martyn aka Philthy Chit has an ability to fuse tight, luxuriant grooves with mesmerising melodic touches. It’s always great when an artist reaches out to us asking to remix a specific track because they are “in love with it”, & that’s exactly what happened when Polish producer Patryk Solecki aka Andromedha (previous releases on Silk, JOOF Aura, Bonzai Progressive & FSOE Parallels) dropped us a line back in May last year. His releases have featured regularly on Solarstone’s weekly radio show & we are big fans of his deep, layered productions. Clocking in at 122bpm Andromedha’s remix is one for heavy, intense floors; a fat & rich bassline, hypnotic gated vocal stabs & crisp hats underpin the mix, leaving plenty of room for Patryk’s lays of luscious synths to weave their magic.
